| how to log into the chat house if you do not have a userplane id, then just type the name you want to use and hit the LOGIN button. how to listen/ view in the chat house Once inside the room you will see a list of names on the left side. Click on mine (AndreaMitchell). While I am playing, I will have a green V and A next to my name. V (for video) means I have my webcam on, and A (for audio) means you can hear me. Others who have a webcam are welcome to use them. If you would like to see the other webcam users, click on the DOCK button under where you see me singing, then click on any user with a V next to their name. You can DOCK up to three users at a time. how to listen/ view in the chat house During the break, we will have open mic. This means that anyone who wants to sing to a karaoke track or play guitar is welcome to do so. Someone will be managing a list, so keep an eye out if you would like to take a turn, and also keep an eye out for an A next to a user's name so you can click on them and listen. If you would like to take a turn, just let the ADMIN know, and he/ she will put you on the list. When it is your turn, click on the A under your picture. If you are a guest and do not have a picture, it is replaced by a grey box. Either way, the A (audio) button can be found in the box labeled ME. You can do what ever you want on mic as long as it's not rude or obscene. Admin WILL kick you out if you do not comply! So rap, sing or read poetry... whatever you want. HAVE FUN!! |
